Boza Ivanovic was born in Belgrade in 1972. He began taking pictures at the age of fourteen with his first camera, a Russian made "Lubitel." While living in Belgrade, he worked as a camera assistant at Politika T.V. station. After immigrating to Los Angeles in 1996, he worked as a freelance photographer for magazines,news papers,news agencies and entertainment industry. From 2009-present works with Associated Press. From 2003-2008 worked with U.C.L.A. AIDS Research Institute. From 2001-2003 worked for Long Beach Press Telegram. Exhibitions: Stricola Contemporary, New York 2009 Seyhoun Gallery, Los Angeles 2008 Borders Gallery, Los Angeles 2006 2009 CPN (Canon) Editor's Choice Award -1st Place 2008 Palm Springs Photo Festival -Finalist His photography has taken him to South Africa, Tanzania, Mexico, Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Canada,and USA. |
